The Flybook’s litium ion battery has an average service life of 3 hours. However, this can vary depending on the battery recharging modality chosen during the first days and on how the Flybook is used. Using, for example, peripheral devices such as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPRS, as well as the constant use of its hard-disk, may reduce battery life. We strongly advise to execute the calibration procedure every 2-3 months in order to verify the exact battery life and to be able to always get the most out of it.
When buying the Flybook, we strongly recommend to fully execute the discharge and recharge procedure so as to preserve its service life. Proceed as follows: Execute two recharging procedures: a 14-hour-long recharge process, followed by a 10-hour-long one. Between the first and the second procedure, use your Flybook until the battery runs completely flat. In order to verify the exact battery duration and to maximize its potential, execute the calibration procedure every 2-3 months.

When a message is sent, instead of directly reaching its destination, it passes through a mail server called “server smtp”, which depends upon the provider who is providing you with the Internet connection. We have therefore to modify the e-mail configuration parameters by entering the smtp server address given by the company who is providing you with the GPRS service. When you are in your office, the smtp server will be the company who normally provides you with the internet connection.
